Working Together in Partnership With Our Community....

The Elizabeth City Police Department is committed to working together in partnership with our citizens & fostering positive relationships within the community. We currently have several crime prevention and community policing initiatives in place that have proven to be successful. We plan to continue to cultivate these programs and incorporate new ones in the future, as well. Our main goal as a police department is to improve the quality of life for our residents and to reduce crime and the fear of crime in our community. When the police, the public, and a strong judicial system all come together, we can accomplish many good things.
