Minority & Women-owned Business Enterprise

 

On August 15, 1994, the City of Elizabeth City adopted a resolution (#R94083) the Establishment of Verifiable Goals for Participation By Minority, Women and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises in City Building And/Or Construction Contracts.  The City does not certify Minority, Disadvantage or Women-owned businesses.  Any business that desires to participate as an MWBE will be required to complete and submit for certification documents required by the agencies listed below.  Only those firms holding current certification through at least one of the following agencies will be considered eligible for inclusion in meeting the participation percentage goals:
