Stormwater Master Plan

The City of Elizabeth City has contracted with AECOM to develop a Stormwater Master Plan for the Tiber Creek Drainage Basin.  This Stormwater Master Plan will identify flood prone areas within the Tiber Creek Drainage Basin and develop recommendations for implementing flood control improvement projects to alleviate localized flooding concerns.

The team is currently collecting information from residents in your area about the existing drainage system and any flooding issues.  You are invited to attend a public meeting on November 1, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Knobbs Creek Recreation Center located at 200 E. Ward St. to discuss the scope of the project, the timeframe for project completion, and to ask any questions that you may have.

The meeting will begin with a brief presentation on the background and goals of the project at 6:00 PM followed by an open house from 6:15 to 8:00 PM.

Your Input is critical to the success of the project please complete the online questionnaire at http://bit.ly.TCWPlan
