Elections
Municipal elections for Mayor and City Council are held every odd-numbered year. The Mayor is elected on an at-large basis and two council members are elected to serve in each of four City wards. Persons 18 years and older residing in the City limits of Elizabeth City may vote. Contact the Pasquotank County Board of Elections regarding voter and candidate information by calling 252-335-1739.
